2. Belt

First, we attach the belt to the two outer-most holes. Then, we'll pull the belt in with two more zip ties in the middle, putting pressure between the outer zip ties, thus making the connection perfectly solid. Read on for details.

Put in a 4'' zip tie loop into the right-most hole.

Find the middle of the belt.

Secure it with a 4'' zip tie to the right-most hole with the tooth-side facing away from the Y assembly!

Use the vise grips to make sure the zip tie is really tight.

Put in a 4'' zip tie loop into the left-most hole and thread the belt through.

Again, make it nice and tight.

Once it's secured, use side cutters to clean up the tails of the zip ties.

When you pull on the belt you'll notice there's still some movement. Use two 4" zip ties in the two innermost holes on the assembly: tighten the ties around the belt to remove any slack. Just like with bolts, tighten these a little at a time, and alternate sides.

When you have it as tight as you can, clean up the ends with side cutters.

You will find a mark near each end of the belt, on the back. Make a loop out of the of the belt on both ends keeping the marks at the tips.

Secure the loops tightly with 4" zip ties – the teeth of the belt should mesh together.

Then, another 4" zip tie connects the two loops and makes the belt a loop itself. (Yes, that's a lot of loops). Make sure the head of this last tie is on the top side, and leave it as loose as possible.
