    • You can use your heated bed just as you use the cold bed, with two differences:

    • 1. You need to run heated-bed enabled firmware.

    • 2. You need to instruct your slicer to use the heated bed.

    • If you bought heated bed with your JellyBOX at the beginning, your firmware is already heated bed ready.

    • If you are performing a hardware upgrade, you also have to upgrade your firmware. Read on for instructions:

    • A. Download the latest version of HEATED BED VERSION of JellyBOX Marlin (firmware) from https://github.com/IMADE3D/Marlin/releas...

    • B. Then follow the guide on Upgrading Firmware

  1. Use a material preset: Simply select a material preset that supports heated bed.

  2. Manually: The only thing you need to do is set the bed temperature to non-zero value. Done! Don't see 'Build Plate Temperature?' Hover on the right side to show a 'gear' icon; click on it; and turn on Build Plate Temperature for Cura advanced settings. PS: PLA likes 60, but even 30 or 40 is often plenty with good modern PLA. PETG likes 70, but going lower may be perfectly fine (Atomic filament PETG is quite fine even with cold bed…)
